The “Haus am Watt” (house at the mudflat) organic hotel is located between Büsum and St. Peter-Ording on a mound along the dike, nestled in a landscape of meadows and fields. The Wadden Sea National Park begins just one kilometer from our doorstep.

100% Organic Cuisine

The meals at Haus am Watt are exclusively vegetarian and vegan. In the beautiful old hallway, our dining room, a large breakfast buffet with freshly baked rolls awaits you in the morning. In the afternoon, we serve homemade cake. In the evening, we prepare a varied and abundant hot and cold buffet with dessert for our guests. In our kitchen, we use ingredients that are 100% certified organic and predominantly regionally sourced. Haus am Watt is certified by the organic certification body ABCERT (DE-ÖKO-006).

Natural Ambience

During the restoration of the 250-year-old thatched-roof farmhouse, preserving its original character was a top priority. The furnishings are intentionally kept simple and natural. Each of the spacious rooms and apartments is individually and comfortably furnished, mostly with antique country-style furniture.

The house features a large garden with old fruit trees and lawns for sunbathing, plenty of beach chairs for relaxing, a sunny terrace right in front of the house, and an enchanting pond ecosystem. We have chickens, cats, a gentle dog, as well as two ponies and a horse who are enjoying their retirement here. For relaxation, our guests can enjoy a sauna with a sweeping view across the paddocks.

Seminars or “Just a Vacation”

Amid the tranquility of the countryside, our week-long seminars (yoga, Ayurveda, Nordic walking, or art) explore various paths to physical and mental well-being.

Of course, a restful and relaxing vacation without a set program is also possible here—we offer various weekly packages for this purpose.
