Old Joe’s Kaia is a small intimate guesthouse owner run and managed. It is located in Schoemanskloof, Mpumalanga, South Africa and is ideally situated halfway between OR Tambo International Airport in Gauteng and the Kruger National Park.

Plant-based cuisine

Our kitchen has a very good reputation for excellent plant-based cuisine. We serve a delicious 3-course dinner and a hearty breakfast. Lunches are also available. All meals must be booked in advance.

Relaxing homely ambience

The guesthouse has a wonderful relaxing homely ambience. Meals and drinks can be enjoyed on the balcony of the main building with a fantastic view of the mountains (Drakensberg). In winter a cozy fire in the lounge is enjoyed by the guests and our friendly cats.
The garden is graced with large trees and prolific birdlife, swimming pool and a labyrinth.
